Pre-Placement Assessment

Pre-placement assessments are a highly beneficial step in the recruitment process of many organisations. They have a simple purpose: to let candidates know if the job they are applying for is likely to have a negative effect on their health.

Whilst these assessments are clearly important for higher risk roles such as driving, machine tool operation or working with hazardous substances, all workplaces present different levels of risk for different people.

In most cases, the assessment is carried out with a simple printed or online questionnaire. We ask you about your current health, your medical and family history as well as a few lifestyle questions.

For more physically demanding roles, such as those in the construction, manufacturing, transport and utilities industries, we may undertake a physical assessment at your premises or at one of our centres across the UK.
