We all know that prevention is better than cure, which is why Vitality Healthcare places great emphasis on monitoring your health.
Our assessments provide an opportunity to spot the early signs of health issues and make it easier to take appropriate measures that could prevent a full-blown illness. We will give you all the advice and information you need or, in some cases, may recommend that you visit one of our occupational health advisors or your doctor.
Please take advantage of these assessments to ask any questions you may have about your health. Conversations are confidential and our qualified medical experts will be able to give you the advice you need, or refer you to someone who can.
Types of Assessment

For these assessments many organisations use our simple online booking system that allows you to manage your appointments around your work schedule (see the useful booking demo for employees). You may have access to the system through your intranet or via a link in an email that has been sent to you. If you are unsure about how to access the online booking system, please contact your supervisor.
Jobs that are carried out in higher risk environments, such as those in the construction, manufacturing, transport and utilities industries, may also require more specialised health assessments such as:
Audiometry tests for those exposed to high levels of noise.
Hand-arm vibration assessments to test for hand-arm vibration syndrome (commonly known as HAVS) for those using hand-held vibrating tools.
Skin assessments for those exposed to skin irritants (e.g. chemicals).
